When Arnold spins and cocks (loading) the shotgun while riding the Harley Davidson and charging the bad guy, he knew that he just created a classic scene in action movie history. However, this idea is "borrowed" from John Wayne's True Grit (1969).
The spinning loading scene in True Grit lasts less than 0.5 sec, but it doesn't matter, it just printed in your memory...
This scene has no blowing gun shots and no fantasy car chasing, but the two super actors are ACTING and deliver the performance! On De Niro's part, not much talking, just the tough look (especially under the night vision camera, man, that's what we called "ORIGINAL") and very sharp decision making; On Pacino's part, incredible thinking process , eyeballing movement, emotional yelling... The 2+ hour movie itself is just so so in my opinion, but this 3 min scene earns their credits! Tension and Drama! Hope you enjoy it.
What is love exactly? I think nobody can give a strait answer. but there are signs and moments, you can just smell it, feel it...
In this 1997 thriller & drama, While Max is bailing out Jackie from the jail, he's suddenly stunned. Is it some sort of chemistry? Maybe. the timing, the age, the mood, the stance, the situation, the atmosphere all play a factor in the relationship. Actors (Pam Grier & Robert Forster) and director Quentin Tarantino grasp the feeling very well!
I'd say this is my ORIGINAL thought ;-)
Can you even imagine! Rappers and Snow White Dwarfs have something in common. Just watch the video and judge it yourself. To me, this scene is a wonderful example of what Steve Jobs said: 'Good artists copy; great artists steal'
You can tell that:
Miss Moon is Snow White
Rappers are Dwarfs
Mr. Sin is the Doc (head of dwarfs)
Dabu is the combo of Dopey and Grumpy
I'm not sure about Mr. Chilli (John Travolta), he probably is part of the Snow White (the brave part of course). Don't forget gangsters' stepping out style either, it's vert similar to the Disney cartoon.
It's really fun to watch and compare the two.
